After searching through the web 2.0 awards nominees, I came across Google Earth. I have had experience with Google Earth before but I always seem to learn something new. Things I like about Google Earth are that I can go directly from location to location. I do not have to go to a “home” location first. The only thing that I disliked about it was that over my house, in the country, there was not really a clear picture. I could see this application being used in both the library and school settings. The features of Google Earth are very useful and can be used to help teach a variety of subjects in the classroom.
